Information for NHS patients
This section of the website is here to provide you with all the
information you will need before your visit as an NHS patient.
During your stay in a Ramsay facility, you will be under the
care of a Consultant, and a named nurse. You may be required to
refrain from eating and drinking for a period of time prior to your
operation.
Should you wish to tour a Ramsay facility before your
admission, to familiarise yourself with the layout and facilities,
we would be happy to welcome you.
As an independent provider delivering NHS services, we are
regulated by the Care Standards Act 2000 and receive regular visits
from the Care Quaity Commission. Their report on the facility
will be available to you, either via the General Manager, or the
Care Quality
Commission website.
All the staff working here are committed to meeting your needs
and expectations. You are encouraged to ask any staff member for
assistance at any time during your visit or once you have been
discharged. You can be assured that all staff receive appropriate
clinical and customer service training in order that we can offer
the very best care.
We are committed to working with the Commission to continually
enhance and improve the quality of care for patients.
