Teamwork at Royal Cornwall Show

Colleagues from Duchy Hospital, in Truro, and Bodmin Treatment Centre recently joined forces to attend the Royal Cornwall Show, with some fantastic results.

 

The Duchy shared one stand with Pirate FM, and also had a presence on the Atlantic FM stand, which was shared with their sister facility in Bodmin.    The event was an exhausting three days, but well worth it!  Staff carried out hundreds of mini health assessments, and spoke to a vast number of people about their services, ranging from orthopaedics and cataract surgery, to nurse-led services and cosmetic surgery. 

 

In addition, both hospitals received some excellent coverage on the local radio stations.
